About Tricksters
Tricksters throughout history have many different styles and roles in myth and legend. However, it is to be noted that a trickster is neither evil nor good and they are incredibly necessary to keep flow and movement of the things around them. A primary goal of a trickster is to teach a lesson. This often comes at the expense of those who are too 'high and mighty' and feel themselves infallible. The trickster will device a plot which requires a person to alter their methods. Consider it like karma, almost. Something tragic or impacting happens in recompense of a deed or a thought and it forces you to reconsider your mode of actions and patterns of thinking.  In this way, the trickster could easily be linked to the tarot card "The Tower" which identifies a falling or a radical change in a person who is, at current, high above.

With all this spoken for, Loki is quite serious about his calling in life in this regard. He may seem the freedom loving wild card and often he can be but there is always a method to his madness, even if it is simply to identify his spontaneity or to rise against the common thought of who or what he is.

The Story so Far
  • Loki awoke one day in Bergen. He woke to a small house with a single mother greeting him for breakfast. He didn't know how he got there or why he was there. He didn't understand any of it at all, but the world his eyes took in was radically different from the world he knew before.
  • After assessing his surroundings and noticing he was extremely powerless, he packed a bag and left to seek the mountains in slight panic and confusion.
  • Finding that nature has not yet abandoned him, he returned to the city months later and begins to learn the world as it is now.
